The building of the indoor swimming pool is of rectangular shape, dimension 150 x 42,5m, having the basement and the ground floor. The main purposes of the indoor swimming pool are the pool for competitions, dimension 33 x 25m, with three platforms of 1m, 3m and 5m height, and the auditorium; the pool for warming up, dimension 25 x 12,5m and the pool for children of elliptic shape. Also there are all other facilities necessary for working and using the pools e.g. sanitary rooms, dressing rooms, machinery rooms and similar.

Total nett useful surface of all the rooms inside the building of the indoor swimming pool is 7.707,0m². Out of that, 5.614,2m² is on the ground floor, and 2.092,8m² is in the basement.

The indoor swimming pool has the sports character. The competitive pool is licensed for performing official swimming competitions, competitions in jumping into water and water polo matches. The pool for warming up is suitable for organizing swimming schools, the programmes for kindergartens in water, aqua aerobic, aqua gymnastics, and other similar programmes.

The company "MARINA PROJEKT" d.o.o. from Zadar made complete project documents of the indoor swimming pool, and the company Industrogradnja d.d. from Zagreb was authorized to performe building. Ceremonious opening of the indoor swimming pool was held on the 14^th

May 2009.
